I was able to recover my MacBook from near death the 2nd time in a month. I learned that you can boot off a USB drive if formatted right.
Here’s a silly Mac tip: if you see a folder called private in your root, don’t go moving stuff in it to the Trash. It’s bad news all around.

I’m bummed at the news that FOX is about to cancel Dollhouse and Terminator:SCC. Why can’t they give these shows a chance like other shows?
On the other hand, I find Fringe more and more enjoyable as the show goes on. So I guess I should be happy that FOX doesn’t pull this.
